The Final Testaments

THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST DOES NOT HAVE AN “OLD VERSION”

Saying that the “New Testament” is a direct extension of the “Old Testament” is utterly absurd. It’s like arguing that a car’s reverse gear is the same as forward gear just because they’re found in the same gearbox.
Seeking spiritual salvation is like driving a car; Jesus Christ represents forward gear, while Jehovah represents reverse gear.

The Old Testament-New Testament fault line is a deliberate pitfall, canonized by Paul and the Church fathers, designed to confound unsuspecting followers of Pauline Christianity. Traditional Christians are led to believe and argue that Jehovah’s everlasting covenant with the Jewish people is an old version of Christ’s redemptive mission for all captive human spirits in the world.

Anyone—whether a traditional Christian, Jew, Muslim, or Gentile—who engages forward gear will drive safely with Jesus Christ to the blessed Tree of Life. In contrast, anyone who engages reverse gear will be driven into eternal damnation by Jehovah, the son of perdition.

Jehovah’s everlasting covenant with Abraham and his descendants is explicit: to multiply their population on Earth, grant them material blessings, give them a promised land, fight their wars, and protect them from their human enemies. It says nothing about granting them spiritual blessings or eternal life. He said to Abraham, “I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant.” [Genesis 17:7] As an everlasting covenant, it leaves no room for modification or replacement.

On the other hand, the redemptive mission of Jesus Christ promises spiritual life and ultimate reunion with the Father, who is the blessed Tree of Life. The Father’s covenant through Jesus Christ is open to all repentant, fallen, dead spirits in the world, regardless of clan, creed, or class. Hebrews 8:6-7 explains that Christ’s mission “is much more excellent than Jehovah’s covenant with Abraham and his descendants, since it is enacted on better promises.” In any case, it argues, “if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second.”

Christ's "Parable of the New Wine and the Old Wineskin” explains the fundamental difference between his redemptive mission and Jehovah’s sham covenant with Abraham and his descendants.

Jesus Christ used “the parable of the new wine and the old wineskin” to explain the fundamental difference between his redemptive mission of spiritual salvation for all repentant fallen spirits in the world and Jehovah’s covenant of material rewards with Abraham and his descendants. Because the spiritual battle between good and evil unfolds within the same Jewish arena, it does not mean that evil is equivalent to good. Jesus Christ explicitly states:

“No one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.” “Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before.” [Matthew 9:17,16(NLT)]

Since the first appearance of the heavenly Christ in Eden, the Father’s will has remained unchanged; it has always been to save and resurrect the already self-condemned lost spirits in the world. Therefore, the Messiah has patiently called on the people of the world to embrace love and live a life that reflects the divine ideals of the Father’s perfect Kingdom. “You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect,” he says to the world. [Matthew 5:48]

The true gospel of Jesus Christ embodies love, peace, patience, understanding, tolerance, and a clear sense of direction, unlike Jehovah/Allah’s so-called Old Covenant with the Jews, which is characterized by violence, wrath, vengeance, and despair.

The Son willingly entered the world out of brotherly love and compassion for his “drowning brothers,” knowing how dangerous and desperate their situation was. He also understood the Father’s will and his own divine abilities before deciding to undertake the rescue mission. Therefore, there are words he could not possibly speak and actions he could not take against helpless humans.

The Scripture provides many examples showing that Jehovah/Allah is not like Jesus Christ. While Jesus Christ is truly loving, peaceful, compassionate, patient, and tolerant toward helpless people in the world, Jehovah/Allah is depicted as a bungling taskmaster with no real, workable solution to the world’s problems, many of which are caused by him. The Scripture also states clearly that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” [Hebrews 13:8]
