Young man feeling free on top of the world

“This world is not our home!” Jim Reeves sang so a long time ago. Sadly, to this day, not many people seriously wonder, “Where then is our true home?” “How did we get here”? “What has become of us here in the world?” and “How can we get back to our true heavenly home?”

We hear that our heavenly Father loves us so much, and that he sent the heavenly Christ to redeem and retrieve our captive spirits from the world. Today, many of us rhetorically affirm that the heavenly Christ indeed, incarnated into the world to rescue us from eternal captivity in the hands of the wicked principalities of the world. But we seldom wonder why the Father would be seeking to rescue and retrieve our spirits if we were not some estranged spirits in captivity in an alien world. We do not even seem to understand that somehow we are lost spirits in a material world, and that the material world is indeed not the proper home for true spirits. We still find it so hard to rightly conclude that the loving Father who sent his Son into the world to redeem us cannot also be the God of the world that holds us captives, that the Father’s perfect spiritual Kingdom ought to transcend our imperfect material world of mortal beings. And sadly, we still do not realize that God of the world does not mean well for any of us, that he is not our friend but rather our captor and archenemy.

“Because the Father’s children are [now] human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood,” says the Scripture. “For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of [Jehovah/Allah] the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all [humans] who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” That way, “Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.”  – Heb 2:14-15(RSV)

Many of us acknowledge that the heavenly Christ came into the world and took on human body. In other words, we understand that the human body was not an aspect of his original nature but merely a disposable worldly cloak that he had to put on to temporarily operate in the world and communicate effectively with human beings. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.” [Heb 2:14-15(RSV)]

Also, we know that though Jesus’ human body was crucified and it died, the heavenly Christ that came into the world retained his original divine nature and lives on. We know now that we too will live even after our human bodies die because he lives, and because we are originally of the same immortal divine nature. Yet it still seems so impossible for most of us to accept that human bodies are mere disposable earthen garments peculiar only to earthly beings. In fact, human bodies are like earthen straightjackets placed over human spirits; they restrict and enslave the captive spirits that animate them. The wicked principalities of the world are the potentates of the human situation, and they fight with a vengeance to sustain the status quo forever. Sadly, most people talk about fighting the battle of spiritual salvation in the name of Jesus Christ, but without having a clue what the battle is all about or who they ought to be fighting against.

We fight to extricate our captive spirits from our present mortal straightjackets to attain true eternal life. We fight for outright ascent from this alien world of darkness. The battle is very real; it is indeed a do or die affair. Our battle is against the ruthless principalities of the world, and our principal enemy is Jehovah/Allah. His accomplices include the so-called archangels and the human slave prefects that superintend their rule of terror over ignorant humans on earth. These include ruthless secular, religious and underworld authorities and all classes of ruling agents of the world.   The Scripture reminds us that our battle is not and should not be against our fellow human captives, but against the Gods and rulers of our present world of captivity. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,” says the Scripture, “but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Eph 6:12(KJV)]

But how many of us really know who the principalities are? Well, the Scripture tells us clearly that Jehovah/Allah “rules the kingdom of men, and gives it to whom he will, and sets over it the lowliest [even the basest] of men.” [Dan 4:17(RSV)] So, we know, and we have all lived with this bitter truth all our lives. Jehovah/Allah is the principal of the wicked principalities of our world. He is terminally threatened by the divine mission of Jesus Christ in the world, and he is openly enraged against enlightened humans who genuinely seek spiritual salvation in his name. Isaiah 34:2 says that “Jehovah/Allah is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host, he has doomed them, has given them over for slaughter.” Jehovah/Allah also vows to fight with vengeance against enlightened humanity. “I will take vengeance, and I will spare no man,” he says … “There is none who can deliver from my hands; I work and who can hinder it?” [Isaiah 47:3, 43:13(RSV)]

Of course, Jehovah/Allah is a well-known braggart. He knows that Jesus Christ is more than able to deliver us from his hands. That is why he is so frustrated right now, knowing that his time is indeed very short. “For this lawlessness is already at work secretly,” says 2 Thess 2:7-10(NLT), “and it will remain secret until the one [the heavenly Christ] who is holding it back steps out of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus Christ will kill him with the breath [words] of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming. This man of lawlessness [Jehovah/Allah] will come [as the Antichrist] to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.”

Jesus Christ says to people who genuinely seek spiritual salvation in his name, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” [John 8:31-32(NLT)] So, the principal weapon we need against Jehovah/Allah, the arrogant man of lawlessness, is adequate knowledge of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. We also need fearlessness and the “courage of rock” that Jesus Christ identified and commended in Apostle Simon Peter. The Scripture says that those who live in fear of Jehovah/Allah are not perfected in the love of the Father; it says that we should resist the devil, and he will flee from us.

The Final Testaments is fearlessly calling attention to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, which seeks to redeem and return our lost spirits to the Father’s transcendent Kingdom. Everyone who genuinely seeks spiritual salvation for his spirit in the name of Jesus Christ will not fail to identify with The Final Testaments. Copies of the various volumes are available on Amazon and other online bookstores.

Finally, Eph 6:13-18(GNT) says, “So put on the Father’s armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy’s attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground. So, stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of the Father as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for the Father’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason, keep alert and never give up; pray always for all the Father’s people [in the world].”

Only the truth will set us free indeed.
