The Final Testaments serve as final testimonies to all nations before the end comes.
We live in a world where humans are born as babies, and we anticipate their growth, aging, and eventual death. Humans are born primitive and spiritually unaware, and we expect everyone to achieve spiritual enlightenment and to act in a civilized manner. Yet, although we acknowledge that change is unavoidable, we often resist it.
‘Ascent of humankind’ implies that humans strive to develop spiritually, gain wisdom with age, and rise above ignorance to attain a higher state of existence. Ironically, while many speak of ascending to heaven, few are willing to consider that this world, its life, and its God might be harmful and even a hindrance to our spiritual growth.
How many people truly see spiritual growth and the pursuit of a higher life as crucial? For many, belief in spiritual salvation through Jesus Christ is merely a religious homily that does not concern them personally. They neither sense the ongoing spiritual battle to free their spirits from the wicked world nor recognize the steady progress of Christ’s divine mission. Still, the ‘ascent of humankind’ must continue regardless.
THE OLD TESTAMENT
Although largely altered and misrepresented by the disgruntled God of Eden, the Old Testament still reveals the ‘first coming’ of the heavenly Christ in Eden as the Spirit of Knowledge. It shows how his sudden arrival revived and empowered Adam and Eve when they embraced him as their heavenly Messiah. Adam became the first true prophet of the heavenly Christ on Earth, and his descendants further proclaimed his second coming in human form. They conveyed his solemn promise that ‘man will not surely die,’ despite Jehovah’s threat, because the Father graciously offers spiritual rebirth to all repentant humans.
THE NEW TESTAMENT
The New Testament, still largely influenced and altered by Jehovah, the evil God of Eden, fulfilled its purpose by confirming the ‘second coming’ of the heavenly Christ in human form among Adam’s descendants, as foreseen by the true prophets of Israel—all of whom were sons of Adam. His first true disciples preached that Jesus of Nazareth was the expected Messiah foretold by Adam’s descendants. The text affirms that Jesus Christ was that same Spirit of Knowledge that revived Adam and Eve in Eden, reinforcing that:
· “The true light that enlightens every man came into the world.
· The Father’s Word of Life [in Eden] became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father. And from his fulness we have all received, grace upon grace.
· To all who receive him, who believe in his name, he gives power to become children of the Father; who were [originally] born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of the Father.” [John 1:9-16]
THE FINAL TESTAMENTS
Since everyone already recognizes Jesus Christ as humanity’s true Savior, the Final Testaments have been inspired to clarify the truth and highlight Christ’s authentic gospel of the Father’s heavenly Kingdom. These Testaments herald the long-anticipated ‘end of this age,’ now upon us, and distinguish ‘the wheat from the weeds,’ as Jesus describes in Matthew 13:30, saying, “I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.”
Jehovah is the dreaded evil spirit who rules the human world. Jesus Christ states that the entire earth is under the power of Jehovah, whom he calls ‘the liar and father of lies.’ He asserts that only knowing the truth can liberate humanity from his crippling web of falsehood and help them avoid eternal spiritual bondage and death in Outer Darkness. Recognizing the difference between Jehovah and the Father that Jesus Christ represents is salvation and eternal life itself. This understanding transcends all worldly religions, which have long enslaved humanity through irrational fear of Jehovah.
Jesus Christ declared with certainty that “This [final] Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” [Matthew 24:14] In the words of Jacob Bronowski (1908-1974), a Polish-born British mathematician, poet, and humanist, “The ascent of man will go on. ... If we [of the Western civilization] don’t take the next step in the ascent of man, it will be taken by people elsewhere—in Africa, in China. ... And yet, 50 years from now, if understanding of man’s origins, his evolution, his history, his [spiritual] progress, is not the commonplace of the schoolbooks, we shall not exist.”
The Final Testaments are not about Uche Ephraim Chuku. They are called the Final Testaments because, although the testimonies were initiated through me, many courageous individuals will contribute their voices. Had I not started them, someone else would have. Therefore, those who dismiss the Final Testaments simply because they are written by an African should realize that the little bird singing and dancing in the tree is being guided by someone beating the drum and leading the song from behind the scenes.
